strip_tags

Sometimes we need to remove to remove the html tags from the strings. If we try to remove that things we need to do lot of works. Fortunately php has a function to remove these tags.

Function Name is
strip_tags

Arguments are:
string - The string we need to remove the tags
allowable_tags(optional) - This is optional parameter, we can specify the tags we don’t want to remove

Example:

$string = “<a href=’show_content.php’><b>Remove Anchor Tab</b></a>”;

$string = strip_tags($string,’<b><i><u>’);

echo $string;
